Tradition with modernity by Graff

Handcrafted design and ingenuity mark out Expo, a new generation of bathroom furniture offered by Graff and designed by the Italian studio Lombardo Nespoli and Novara.

“An outstanding collection with a rare presence” is how French design review Yooko described it.

Presented at the recent Milan Design Week, the range brings together tradition and modernity.  “We wanted to focus first on the tradition through the use of materials such as wood and terracotta, while finding the functionality and practicality of innovative materials such as DuPont™ Corian®,” explains designer Alberto Lombardo.

The completely handmade washbasin is made of oven-baked terracotta from Impruneta, famous for its fine red-coloured local clay. Shelving and vanity units are available in canaletto walnut solid wood or matte white varnished ash solid wood with visible grain.

The hanging shelves and the solid wood drawer are spacious and complete the furnishing’s balance with the visible trays which are characterised by an especially original design.

The round mirror is also made of solid wood and contains a hook on the upper side for implementing LED illumination. The bottom side hides a touch light switch.
