My favourite 5 bathroom design trends from the Milan Fair

First of all, apologies for having not written a blog in such a very long time!

I have been following friends and colleagues on Instagram posting photos from the Milan Fair which I visited last two years ago. Bathrooms and kitchens are on show every two years, so a visit is a definite for 2020 in our calender.

The fair was very well received with an over all increase of 26% in visitors from the year before.

See below my favourite 5 bathroom designs and trends:

1. I love the latest herring bone pattern trend which is both on the floor and the gorgeous vanity.

2. A quick Pinterest search or chat with a fellow designer will tell you 2018 is going to be quite a throw back year, specifically with the 70’s and 80’s features such as terraazo finishes and Memphis style design. The bright colours in this bathroom are a great example of this.

3. Blue seems to be playing a strong role this year and this wall cladding looks incredible with the marble-look work surface and the beautifully styled accessories.

4. The industrial style design of this vanity, the unique LED designed mirror and especially the details of the designed single lever mixer show an amazing level of detail and is a real inspiration.

5. The three dimensional design and detail of this natural stone wall cladding is unbelievable and a real work of art.
