This was such an enjoyable project as our client gave us a clear simple brief and we understood what he was after and enjoyed working with the requirements. We renovated all three bathrooms and replaced all ceilings with new shadow line ceiling and replaced all lighting. Special attention was paid to the switches which we surface mounted for an industrial feel.
The black and white palette of finishes combined with the custom oak veneer joinery and detail of the black listello tile is the thread that runs through the bathrooms.
We had time to order the Duravit Vero basin with no tap ledge so we could combine it with the Meir black wall taps creating a double basin in a tight space and that way allowing the space to feel larger.
The jet black Caesarstone vanity tops and shower ledges are hard working surfaces and finish off the white flat metro tiles on the walls.
We paid particular attention to the architecture of the historical Bo Kaap area and let this help us to direct our approach to the design.
So pleased to share the below thank you email from our client:
Thank you so very much for the upgrade to my home. From our initial meeting to our second meeting I feel we already made up plenty of ground, with the way you narrowed down the options.
Then, with regards to the building team, apart from the delivery of quality product delivered, the guys really went out of their way in accomodating my requirements, always friendly, so it does not stop at the product. The energy on site is pure.
It going to be hard to recommend anyone else, Bespoke will always be the first that jumps to mind.
