With all the joinery badly damaged in a fire, our client had the opportunity to remodel and redecorate all three bedrooms and the existing office space. Having renovated the home in 2017, it meant a lot to be asked back to take on the rebuild.

The starting point for the look and feel was a modern twist on a classic design, ensuring the prevalent architecture in the neighbourhood was respected and valued. We carefully selected a classic paint palette that was in keeping with this heritage home.

For the House Du Plooy interior design and decorating, we worked closely with our client, making sure their storage needs were incorporated into the design. In the smaller kids’ bedrooms, the layouts were carefully planned so that the beds, bedside tables and desks fit seamlessly with the new built-in cupboards.
