This luxury manor home is situated 90 minutes from Cape Town, close to Hermanus. Our clients were ready to renovate their bathrooms and wanted to incorporate their personal style into these spaces. The Benguela Cove Cloakroom is located alongside the decking and pool area, and the concept was to bring that outdoor connection into the space.
The large wall opposite the bathroom entrance presented the perfect canvas for a wallpaper feature wall by Cara Saven. Terracotta floor tiles were added, along with classic, hand-painted–look Italian wall tiles, creating a Mediterranean beach feel.
We used a wall-hung basin from Boutique Baths, paired with black taps from Meir. The lighting was replaced and carefully considered, working with three different bathroom-rated light sources that come together as a balanced combination. The mirror was custom-made to size with a white frame.
