Apartment May Kitchen

This well-situated apartment in Sea Point needed a total revamp. The design concept for Apartment May Kitchen was to create a welcoming space which draws you into the heart of the home as you open the front door. Based on this brief, the kitchen island was centred on the entrance door. We demolished the wall dividing the existing kitchen from the bedroom and converted the bedroom into a living space. .

We worked with simple contemporary elements of the highest quality, including high gloss Niemann German board for the cabinetry, LED undercounter lights and Atlas composite stone worktops. The new Oggie engineered wood flooring adds a layer of warmth..

The Franke sink and Crestial tap are well-situated under the window – which has stunning views of Lion’s Head.

The Smeg appliances were integrated to create a seamless look that doesn’t distract from the unique Atlantic Seaboard views.
