The existing Apartment May Bathroom on Sea Point’s Ocean View Drive needed a total renovation. We wanted to create a simple luxurious feel that had clean lines and a contemporary feel.
A dividing wall was added in the bedroom to create a walk-in wardrobe. The old geyser was replaced with a new one, which we placed in the linen cupboard in the passage. This opened up space in the bathroom for a spacious new walk-in shower.
The WC was modernised with the addition of a new Geberit cistern, toilet pan and seat.
The wall-hung vanity is custom made and includes a slab porcelain basin from Duravit. The large format marble-look wall tiles and warm grey floor tiles compliment the Oggie engineered wooden flooring which flows into the rest of the apartment.
Crestial brassware was fitted for the shower and basin.
We created as much integrated storage for body products as possible by adding custom-made above-counter cabinets clad in mirror and Niemann German board. The low wall housing the Geberit cistern is clad with Atlas engineered stone and compliments the wall tiles.
