This year is a very special one for us – in 2016 Bespoke Bathrooms celebrates its 10th anniversary!
Design in all its many forms continues to drive the passion we have for our bathroom business. Readers of this blog will know that we greatly admire the multi-talented Spanish designer Patricia Urquiola and in our first blog of the year we want share interiors which feature her pieces. We hope this will serve as inspiration for changes you may be planning in your home.
A yellow Bend sofa and two Husk chairs, both by Patricia Urquiola for B&B Italia, add splashes of color to this Australian seaside home which we can easily imagine in Clifton or as a holiday home along the south-western Cape coast.
We like the small cozy space and retro feel of the bedroom in this restored midcentury apartment in Napa, California. A Bague table lamp by Patricia Urquiola sits on chest of drawers on the far left.
The two bold and colourful Tropicalia loungers, Patricia Urquiola for Moroso, grabbed our attention in this converted industrial loft building in Brussels. Perfect outdoors in our warm South African summers.
Designed to blend with its lakeside setting this Australian home could just as easily be on our local Breede River. Spotted the Patricia Urquiola yet? It’s the rug!
This tranquil space, would you believe it, is in the middle of São Paulo, Brazil, the southern hemisphere’s largest city which numbers a staggering 28 million people! What appeals to us is the sleek apartment living style and the small garden feel created on the balcony. The camel-grey Redondo armchair by Patricia Urquiola for Moroso balances the bright cherry-red of the sofa and ottoman.
