House Naismith a beautifully situated home in an estate in Hout Bay needed all the bathrooms remodelled as the spaces were poorly designed and lacked a sense of luxury.
In the main bathroom we widened the existing shower area by moving the built-in cupboards to another part of the bedroom. We also reconfigured windows and raised the ceiling.
Bathroom 1 and 2 as well as the guest cloakroom were also remodelled to accentuate the existing architecture and to create more space.
We worked with various textures and colour and combined these elements with modern stainless steel fittings and clean simple lines.
The main en suite brassware fittings are from Quadro in a matt steel and are a good match with the rose gold sanitary ware from Victoria and Albert. The toilets are from Duravit’s new range which is rim free and easy to clean.
All vanity tops are from Caesar Stone and are slightly textured and are complimented with custom design vanities with drawers for easy storage.
