The brief from our very artistic client was to design a bathroom that was different!
We had a fairly small space to work with and wanted to create a real art work with this renovation. The finishes became the focal point of this project.
The black porcelain floor tiles we had custom cut so that we could lay a herring bone pattern and then we kept the shower walls a simple white. The Caprice Provence tiles from Lasco were used to clad the new ledge that creates the bath storage niche and holds the Geberit cistern.
The Paddington bath we had customized the color finish and then combined this with Meir black tapware. Also the curved color glass splash back offsets the simple shape of one of or favorite basin by Duravit the Happy D.
Our talented client designed the custom wall paper which we then had printed on vinyl so it’s appropriate for a bathroom. The colours then pulled all the finishes together and created a really successful design.
So pleased to share the below thank you email from our client:
I could go into how impressed I was by your excellent communication skills from your reply to my first e-mail through to your sign-off letter, or my delight at your creative Interpretation of a very scattered brief but I’m sure you have heard this before?
So perhaps I should instead mention my surprise at each and every one of the BB craftsmen, Noor, Zain and their team who are highly skilled and were very respectful of my home, but you’ve probably heard this too? What about how you managed the entire project with calm and self-assurance? Or how concise and painless you make your accounting system seem?
I could go on with more positive things to say but I’m sure you will have heard them all…
Here is one very happy client signing off.
Thank You
