It was an honour to work in the beautiful surroundings of the De Grendel Estate again and to work closely with our clients on this heritage building.
With a very good eye for design, our client knew what she wanted for her guest bathroom and how it would work with the existing spaces. She chose the classic blue and white wallpaper that wraps around the walls.
The vanity and matching mirror were existing pieces that the client asked us to work with. We added the traditional-look taps and sanitary ware, which came from Victorian Bathrooms.
We custom cut the Volakas marble tiles for the walls. The bathroom floor is a beautiful hexagonal mosaic, which we continued into the shower.
The marble splash back was carefully considered and fabricated to a specific shape. Mimicking the plaster moulding from the exterior of the building, we designed the curved marble cladding around the beautiful existing interior window.
