House Van Steensel is a beautiful home is situated in Noodhoek. The clients have a European background and like a minimalistic and clean look.
We renovated both bathrooms, the main en suite on the first floor as well as the ground floor guest bathroom.
The main bathroom was a very difficult space to work in it opens to the double volume space below and as well as having a steep angled ceiling.
We thus designed a free-standing vanity unit that is a centre piece and can be viewed from all angles. It is made up of a custom designed stainless steel structure that the mirrors, mirror lights and vanity is fitted too. The bespoke basin is made locally and the taps are from the Quadro range in stainless steel.
The shower tray is from Duravit from the Stonetto range and is a product we have used with great success on several projects as it creates a clean seamless look that looks good for many years.
We worked with large slabs of tiles from the Urban range from Studio Masson combined with simple white matt shower wall tiles.
