This family home in Noordhoek needed a few updates for its new owners, which included a full renovation of the main en suite bathroom and the addition of a new dressing area.

The new bespoke cupboards maximised the existing space by following the angle of the ceiling, with sleek custom-sprayed handles that make the cupboards feel taller. A soft matt white finish was combined with a textured wood-look detail to bring warmth and a natural feel into the room, with the same finishes carried through into the bathroom to create a seamless flow between the two spaces.

For the House Towell main bathroom, brushed nickel taps from Meir were selected to complement the tone of the Marazzi wall tiles, adding another layer of warmth to the interior. A new low-level plumbing wall runs along the full length of the vanity, helping to stretch the space visually and create a more open, expansive feel. Large-format travertine-look tiles from Italy with a subtle stone effect were chosen for the floors, helping to make the room feel larger while bringing a calm, grounded quality to the space.

A specially shortened concealed WC cistern from Geberit was installed to fit neatly below the windowsills, with a top-mounted actuator plate for a clean, streamlined finish.
