This is the fourth project with this client and the second one on the same Franschhoek estate, in a different home. The original bathroom and dressing room were quite dark and ordinary. By taking out the wall dividing these two spaces we brought in more light. The vanity, which turns into the chest of drawers, acts as a low ‘wall’ which holds the shower glass and floating mirrors.
Choosing the right materials is integral to allowing a bathroom to function efficiently. The latest look uses a mix of materials: high tech composite worktops, tactile woods, decadent marble and cool-to-the-touch concrete. This bathroom is a good example of this trend.
So pleased to share the below thank you email from our client:
We cannot thank Lisa and her team at Bespoke Bathrooms enough for their work on this project. We have been working with Lisa since 2008, initially in Higgovale, Franschhoek and Sydney followed by a second project in Franschhoek and finally the current projects in Stellenbosch and Arniston. The Stellenbosch project is the largest to date and she provided designs for the bathrooms and kitchen/scullery areas. As usual the results have been stunning and it is an absolute pleasure to work with her. She is a consummate professional and that ethic filters into all facets of the project. I do not hesitate to recommend Lisa and would not attempt any future project without her input and creativity!
