This is the second and final stage of our renovation at House De Villiers in Franschhoek.
We designed the new main bedroom and en-suite bathroom loft conversion, as well as one of the kid’s bathrooms, the kid’s bedroom desk and wardrobe, plus the new wine cellar.
High-quality joinery is a key focus as well as good lighting and new fittings to compliment the existing thatch roofing.
We worked with warm materials and focused on a handcrafted feel by using oiled oak-veneer joinery, Bulevar wall tiles and graphic floor tiles from Spain.
We combined the more cost-effective Crestial range, with elements from our favourite Danish tap brand Vola for a clean look. The large basin in the main en-suite bathroom is from Duravit and is a great space saver.
Watch this space for the next De Villiers project as our clients are moving to Stellenbosch.
So pleased to share the below thank you email from our client:
We cannot thank Lisa and her team at Bespoke Bathrooms enough for their work on this project. We have been working with Lisa since 2008, initially in Higgovale, Franschhoek and Sydney followed by a second project in Franschhoek and finally the current projects in Stellenbosch and Arniston. The Stellenbosch project is the largest to date and she provided designs for the bathrooms and kitchen/scullery areas. As usual the results have been stunning and it is an absolute pleasure to work with her. She is a consummate professional and that ethic filters into all facets of the project. I do not hesitate to recommend Lisa and would not attempt any future project without her input and creativity!
