This beautiful Victorian guest house is located in a small side street of Green Point near Cape Town’s city bowl. When the bathrooms were last renovated, most of the special Victorian architectural features were removed. We focused on re-introducing these so that the bathrooms are now again an integral part of the whole space.

We included some modern features such as the wall hung toilets with Geberit concealed cisterns and custom aquaslab shower bases. The frameless shower glass and simple brassware also adds simplicity.

The more traditional features are reflected in the use of the Metro wall tiles and the vanity design, as well the newly exposed high ceilings, cornices and picture rails.

This was a really successful project in collaboration with the boutique guest house manager who had a great understanding of the feel that she wanted to create for her guests.
