Mutual Heights is a landmark in Cape Town from a past era. The bathrooms were tricky as they have no natural light and the structure is dry walling with a timber, suspended floor. The black tongue and groove wall cladding offset with the white custom Corian vanity on a black bespoke aluminium powder coated frame, creates a new charm on historical forms.
By mosaicking all the walls and floor in green horizontal bands of colour this tiny guest bathroom has a real sense of presents and the mirror acts as a final jewel.
